A little about me: I'm an aspiring animator. I'm a die hard Mets fan and completely obsessed with Disney. It's my dream to work for Pixar or Disney in any way, shape, or form. Enjoy! Space Rangers

Disney put those Walt Disney shirts on their online store and I got ridiculously excited and now I feel sick.
Happy Birthday to the one and only Walt Disney.
Today is Walt Disney’s birthday. I first began my obsession with Disney, and I’m talking about the man himself, when I read his autobiography. Ever since then I have been craving more and more information about this wonderful man who was able to take what little he had and build it into one if the most successful and recognized companies in the world. I mean, he put his heart and soul into everything he did. He did things that people said simply could not be done. Of course, he had the help of countless people, countless animators and engineers, but he spearheaded each undertaking, he pushed everyone along. And because of that they were able to achieve incredible things, like the first cartoon with integrated sound, the first feature-length animated film, lifelike audio-animatronics, even Disneyland itself. You couldn’t tell the man no. And I admire him for that. I admire everything he was able to accomplish. Even though he died long before I was born, he has influenced my life and the lives if countless others around the world. I often wonder what it would have been like to live when Walt did. How amazing would it have been to welcome him into your home every Sunday night while watching his TV show. How amazing to see Walt himself in Disneyland. That’s why I’m so excited that he will finally be portrayed in a movie. It’s not the same as Walt himself, but it’s close enough. And the fact that it’s Tom Hanks is just icing on the cake. So I’d like to wish a heartfelt happy birthday to Mr. Walt Disney. Even though it’s not on any calendar, December 5 will always be Disney Day in my book.
Okay, so why is it that tumblr did not inform me that Tom Hanks was playing Walt Disney in Saving Mr. Banks? Why? OF ALL THE PLACES!!!
Walt Disney started The Walt Disney Company before his 22nd birthday. I now have a bold new goal to accomplish before my next birthday. Anything can happen.
If I had a time machine, I would set it to July 17, 1955 and go to Anaheim, California and go to the opening day of Disneyland. I would love to meet Walt Disney. Walt Disney is my hero.
This has been a Walt Disney appreciation post.
I truly hate that when I go to type in “Walt Disney Animation” into google “Walt Disney Anti-Semetic” pops up first. It really bothers me.
I don’t care if I’ve already posted this. I will post it again, and again, and again….it’s perfection.
